# Blu-Disc Studio

> Blu-Disc Studio is professional Blu-Ray authoring software for Microsoft Windows, designed for
> easy and quick authoring of Blu-ray discs with a BD-J (Java) interactive menu. It is developed by
> DVDLogic Software / Disc Art Authoring. The current release is version 4.7.2 (February 1st, 2026).

Blu-Disc Studio creates complete Blu-ray discs for personal use, produces CMF output for mastering,
and exports projects to Scenarist BD. Menus are designed from PSD or PNG assets in a visual designer;
transitions, animations and button actions are configured in an Action Matrix; the project is then
compiled with the built-in DVDLogic BD Muxer, with tsMuxer, or exported to Scenarist BD. The UHD
version is part of the KITe UHD Authoring Suite.

It is Windows-only desktop software: a modern PC running Windows 7/8/10/11 x64 and .NET Framework 4.0
or higher. It is not a web service, a mobile app, or a video converter/ripper.

All editions are 64-bit Windows applications unless noted. Hardware IDs differ between editions, so a
trial license is tied to the specific edition that generated the ID.

- Audio: Dolby Digital (.ac3), Dolby TrueHD/Atmos (.mlp + .ac3), Dolby Digital Plus (.ec3), DTS (.dts), DTS-HD High Resolution Master Audio (.dtshd), WAVE 2.0/5.1 (.wav, .w64)
- Subtitles: BDN XML (.xml), SRT (.srt), PES (.pes + .mui), DoST (.dost), SUP (.sup)
- Menu assets: 32-bit PNG (24 + 8), Adobe Photoshop PSD import, fonts, text, rectangles
- Import/export: Scenarist BD/UHD export, DoStudio Indie project import, PSD templates in Scenarist, DoStudio and native formats
